About Cycle Hiroshima

Cycle Hiroshima was founded as the third member of the Cycle Japan family to show visitors a side of the city that often gets overlooked. Of course, Hiroshima's history deserves to be understood, and the monuments and public spaces that define our city are central to all our tours. But beyond however, lies a vibrant, modern place full of riverside cycle paths, independent cafés, friendly neighborhoods and some of the best food in western Japan.

Since 2018, we've been guiding small groups through Hiroshima at a relaxed pace, giving our guests time to take in the stories, ask questions and discover the city beyond the guidebooks. Traveling by bike means we can move effortlessly between iconic landmarks and the quieter corners that many visitors never reach.

Hiroshima is almost made for cycling. The city is flat, compact and threaded together by six rivers, making every ride feel open and unhurried. Along the way you'll find hidden shrines, local shopping streets, peaceful parks and plenty of opportunities to stop for coffee, photos or simply to soak up the atmosphere.

When the ride is over, we're always happy to point you towards our favourite okonomiyaki restaurants, sake bars and hidden local gems. After all, the best memories often begin once you've stepped off the bike.

Hiroshima is a city with an extraordinary past and an exciting present. We'd love to help you discover both X
